Innovance, Inc. is seeking a Production Assistant for Lou-Rich, a contract manufacturer specializing in complex projects. This role involves operating numerically controlled machine tools, monitoring machining quality, and maintaining production efficiency within a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate numerically controlled machine tools safely
  • Monitor quality of machining processes using process control tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for machining
  • Adjust and secure tools in machine tools
  • Perform first piece sample inspections and continuous dimension monitoring
  • Maintain lubricants and coolants on machines
  • Assist lower-level operators in skill development
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in the production area

Required skills

  • Thorough knowledge of advanced shop mathematics
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments
