Overview

MI Windows and Doors is seeking Seasonal Production Assemblers for both 1st and 3rd shifts at their Hegins Plant. The role involves safely and efficiently fabricating and assembling precision-built windows and sliding glass doors while adhering to quality standards. This position is an opportunity to join a family-owned company with a focus on teamwork and career growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  • Communicate effectively and participate in a goal-oriented team environment
  • Read and interpret production orders for specifications
  • Operate industrial fabrication equipment and pneumatic hand tools
  • Assemble and install insulated glass panels
  • Inspect work-in-process and finished units for quality compliance
  • Package and prepare completed units for shipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Engage in problem solving and continuous improvement activities

Required skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and production orders
  • Basic math skills for calculations involving whole numbers and fractions
  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Capability to stand and move frequently during assembly tasks
