Overview

Key responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  • Effectively communicate and participate in a goal-oriented team environment
  • Read and interpret production orders for specifications
  • Operate chop saw and industrial fabrication equipment
  • Assemble and install insulated glass panels
  • Inspect work-in-process and finished units for quality compliance
  • Package completed units for shipment
  • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and production orders
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to read a tape measure to an increment of 1/16 inch
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Capability to perform repetitive assembly tasks
  • Team-driven attitude with good attendance and focus
  • Precision-driven with quality and safety compliance
  • Customer service mentality to meet production goals
  • Problem-solving skills and previous assembly experience
