Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Product Test Engineer II for their Tucson, Arizona location, focused on supporting the test process throughout various phases of the product life cycle. The position involves troubleshooting, providing rework instructions, and identifying opportunities for improvement in test processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot product hardware and provide accurate rework instructions
  • Create and maintain spares and test equipment obsolescence plans
  • Lead projects to reduce test time and improve the test process
  • Maintain technical data and documentation for test equipment
  • Assist in fault isolation, diagnosis, and repair of products or test equipment
  • Lead root cause and corrective action investigations
  • Perform risk assessments and support program risk register reviews

Required skills

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting experience
  • Technical writing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Leadership and mentoring skills
