Description: JOB SUMMARYThe Product Marketing & Technical Business Development Director is responsible for driving revenue growth,market expansion, and customer adoption across Gel-Pak's product portfolio. This position provides strategicleadership for technical marketing and business development activities, combining market insight with directengagement with customers, distributors, and design engineers.The role develops and executes go-to-market strategies, supports design-win initiatives, and translatescustomer and market requirements into product, application, and marketing strategies that accelerategrowth. Working closely with engineering, sales, and operations, the Director identifies emerging marketopportunities, influences product development priorities, and delivers measurable business results throughincreased market penetration, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:• Partner with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing to develop the annual product line budget andproduct-level forecasts. Establish and achieve annual design-win expansion targets, including new qualifieddesigns, sample-to-production conversion rates, and related forecasted revenue. Own annual newrevenue targets and track performance against quarterly and fiscal year goals.• Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new product launches, ensuring alignment withtarget markets such as semiconductors, MEMS, optics, and medical device manufacturers. Provideengineering with all technical details and application notes needed for new product launch and sampling.• Build and maintain competitive intelligence on packaging alternatives to sharpen Gel-Pak's valueproposition and differentiate against substitute solutions.• Engage directly with sales and their key customer design engineers, procurement teams, and OEMcustomers to understand technical packaging requirements and qualify new design-win opportunities.• Partner with R&D, Quality, and Operations to prioritize the new product roadmap based on marketdemand signals and customer feedback from field engagement.• Build financial models and business cases for new product introductions, including pricing strategy, margintargets, and break-even timelines.• Report new product revenue contribution to overall company growth in quarterly business reviews withexecutive leadership on performance plan identifying successes and gaps in performance. Maintainquarterly fiscal performance updates covering design-win pipeline value, new product revenueattainment, and market share gains for NPI.• Work in partnership with engineering to train Gel Pak's sales team and distributor sales teams on technicalproduct positioning and application use cases to improve lead qualification and close rates.• Performs other duties or responsibilities assigned over the course of employment.ACCOUNTABILITIESSupervisoryNoneFiscalAccountable for annual new product introduction (NPI) and product family revenue budgets, includingrevenue targets and forecasting. Requirements: ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related technical field, or anequivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.• Typically requires 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing, technical sales, or businessdevelopment within semiconductor packaging, electronic component handling, or specialty materialsindustries, or equivalent relevant experience.• Proven success in developing and launching new products, including building business cases, pricingmodels, and go-to-market strategies that delivered measurable revenue growth.• Experience managing distributor and channel partner relationships to expand market reach and drive sellthrough.• History of leading cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, opera
