Overview

The Product Developer/Designer Role at RedRick Technologies Inc. involves leading the design and development of custom ergonomic consoles aimed at enhancing productivity and comfort in healthcare and security industries. Ideal candidates will possess creativity, problem-solving skills, and engineering knowledge to innovate and improve existing product lines.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop new products using SolidWorks and Revit
  • Create and refine custom components based on product manager guidance
  • Work on custom projects, translating concepts into functional designs
  • Update and maintain existing product designs and engineering files
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams for innovative solutions
  • Fine-tune product designs to enhance performance and manufacturability
  • Conduct hands-on work including building and testing prototypes
  • Evaluate product performance and make design adjustments
  • Manage and organize design files for accuracy and version control
  • Support ongoing improvements to current inventory and product offerings
  • Occasional travel to trade conferences and client sites

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Developer/Designer role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks
  • Working knowledge of Revit
  • Valid passport for travel to the United States
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs
