Job Description Job Description About Us We are a U.S.-based manufacturing company designing and producing duty gear and hard goods for law enforcement and professional use. We are looking for an experienced SolidWorks 3D CAD Designer to support product development from concept through prototype and production. Responsibilities Create accurate 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorksConvert hand sketches, concepts, or existing samples into production-ready CAD filesGenerate 2D drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, and notesDesign for manufacturability (CNC, injection molding, stamping, textile hardware, etc.)Revise designs based on testing, feedback, and engineering changesPrepare files for prototyping and vendor production Requirements Proven experience using SolidWorksStrong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processesExperience creating:Parts and assembliesTechnical drawingsExploded views (a plus)Ability to work independently and meet deadlinesClear communication and responsiveness Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience with consumer products, tactical gear, or metal/plastic componentsKnowledge of GD&TExperience working with overseas or U.S. manufacturersFamiliarity with prototyping and testing cycles Compensation Competitive hourly or per-project rate, based on experienceOngoing work available for the right candidate How to Apply Please submit: Resume or brief work historyPortfolio or sample SolidWorks work (required)Your hourly or project-based rateAvailability per week
