Overview

Innovance, Inc. is seeking a Product Design Engineer to join their team in Albert Lea, Minnesota. This role is responsible for designing and developing various industrial products while collaborating closely with engineering personnel. Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop new models, mechanisms, devices, and machinery under the direction of the Engineering Manager.
  • Ensure designs meet customer specifications and incorporate usable parts from production.
  • Prepare design documentation package including BOMs and routings.
  • Perform stress and vibration analysis on products.
  • Manage time effectively to complete projects on schedule.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Technical knowledge in stress and vibration analysis.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for product design.
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) is beneficial.
  • Experience in designing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems is preferred.
