Overview

The Gund Company is seeking a Product Applications Engineer - Switchgear to join their Business Development team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role focuses on developing technical expertise within the switchgear market and assisting customers with engineered solutions while supporting new product development efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for customer applications
  • Support new product development projects from research to implementation
  • Develop marketing content to promote technical expertise
  • Understand and translate customer application requirements into internal capability development

Required skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 1-3 years of experience with switchgear or similar product application support or design roles
  • Technical writing and communication skills
  • Experience in electrical, plastics, composites, aramid, cellulose or elastomeric materials
  • Bilingual communication in Spanish and/or French is a plus
  • Ability to meet ITAR requirements
