Overview

As a Produce Production Team Member at Whole Foods Market, you will be responsible for processing and merchandising fruits and vegetables while ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards. This part-time role allows you to contribute positively to the community by supporting Whole Foods' mission of providing access to healthy food and promoting sustainable practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Cuts fruits and vegetables while following safety and sanitation rules
  • Ensures product quality and maintains sampling program
  • Cleans department continuously and maintains sweep logs
  • Provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs
  • Maximizes sales through effective prepping, storing, and merchandising
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • Reports safety hazards and violations immediately
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
