Overview

The Procurement / Sourcing Specialist 1 role is a 6-month onsite contract position in Tulsa, Oklahoma, requiring over one year of experience. The primary responsibility is to manage the procurement of goods and services, optimize buying power, and collaborate with various internal teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Process procurement requests and gather bids along with pricing
  • Issue purchase orders and confirm receipts
  • Process invoices and track shipments
  • Analyze market trends for insightful buying decisions
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
  • Maintain and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors
  • Assess and manage risks associated with procurement contracts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience in procurement or similar position
  • Strong negotiation skills and contract management
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles
