Job Description

Overview

Micron is seeking motivated Process Technicians to support wafer manufacturing by monitoring operations and collaborating with engineering and production teams to enhance yield, quality, and efficiency. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while adhering to established procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage semiconductor equipment and perform technical evaluations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve wafer fabrication processes
  • Work with engineering teams to enhance workstations and apply structured troubleshooting
  • Monitor process indicators to identify abnormal conditions and take action
  • Collect, review, and document production and process data using computer-based systems
  • Conduct technical experiments and prepare data visualizations to identify trends
  • Complete required safety training and work safely in various environments
  • Participate in shift pass down and cross-functional communication

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability for 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to wear cleanroom garments and PPE
  • Experience demonstrating disciplined execution in high-reliability environments
  • Familiarity with process monitoring and Statistical Process Control concepts
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and be flexible with responsibilities
