Overview

Micron is seeking motivated Process Technicians to support wafer manufacturing in Boise, Idaho. The role involves monitoring operations, reviewing data, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to enhance yield, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage semiconductor tools and perform technical evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize wafer fabrication processes.
  • Set up and manage processing tools in various environments.
  • Communicate effectively and follow procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Analyze data using Microsoft Office and manufacturing software.
  • Conduct technical experiments and prepare data visualizations.
  • Complete required safety training and work safely in varied environments.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in industry, manufacturing, lab, or cleanroom environments
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing data using statistical methods
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts and adhere to safety protocols
