Overview

Micron Technology is seeking a Principal Engineer in DRAM R&D Process Integration to join their team in Boise, Idaho. This role involves leading the development and optimization of capacitor module flows for next-generation DRAM technologies, addressing complex integration challenges, and ensuring the production of reliable, high-yield DRAM products.

Key responsibilities

  • Architect and optimize advanced capacitor process flows
  • Resolve multi-module integration issues across various domains
  • Drive continuous improvement in capacitor-related benchmarks
  • Develop structured DOEs for technology learning and performance improvement
  • Lead data-driven yield improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-site technology transfers and module qualifications
  • Support early-stage pathfinding for new architectures
  • Engage in collaborative research with external partners
  • Foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence

Required skills

  • MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering
  • 5+ years in the semiconductor industry with a focus on process integration
  • Expertise in MIM capacitor engineering and dielectric solutions
  • Experience in developing capacitor processes from R&D through ramp stages
  • Proficiency in data analytics and statistical methods
  • Leadership and effective cross-functional collaboration skills
