As we continue to grow, our goal is to become the leading product development and production partner for both emerging and established brands across the country.Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PE Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and optimization of personal care formulations while contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovation-driven environment. You will work alongside experienced scientists to enhance existing products, develop new formulations aligned with market trends, and support the technical needs of our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environmentCalibrate and maintain laboratory equipmentSupport project tracking and updates within internal systemsOrder and manage raw material samples for development projectsPerform document control and maintain accurate recordsPrepare, mount, and evaluate stability samples; maintain stability logs and reportsAssist chemists with formulation development and lab activitiesValidate customer-supplied and internal formulationsPrepare lab batches and scale-up support batches as neededPrepare documentation and coordinate shipment of samplesContribute to innovation efforts in product and ingredient developmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific fieldMinimum of 1 year of laboratory experience (internship or professional)Working knowledge of standard lab equipment (e.g., pH meter, viscometer, mixers, hot plates)Strong organizational and documentation skillsEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teamsEagerness to learn and grow within the personal care industryAbility to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of outcomesPreferred QualificationsCoursework in organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and mathematicsInterest in emerging technologies and trends in product developmentWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation packageComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company participationA dynamic, growth-focused environment with the stability of an established organizationThe opportunity to contribute to innovation within a $250B global industrySalary Range $22.00-$25.00 hourly.Equal Opportunity Statement Prime Matter Labs is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
