Job Description

Overview

RiteScreen is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to enhance manufacturing processes in Elizabethville, PA, or Elizabethton, TN. The role focuses on driving efficiency, safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced environment, requiring proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to drive efficiency and reduce waste
  • Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, throughput improvement, and scrap reduction
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and cost evaluations
  • Monitor and improve KPIs such as cycle time, downtime, and labor efficiency
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools for operational performance
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions
  • Support new product introductions and ensure manufacturability
  • Manage projects from concept through implementation
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions
  • Train operators and support production teams with process changes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Experience with process optimization and automation
  • Data analysis skills with ERP systems and intermediate Excel proficiency
  • CAD and 3D modeling experience
  • Strong communication skills
