Overview

The Process Assistant at Amazon.com Services LLC is responsible for supporting the Area Manager in various Fulfillment Center operations. This role includes managing daily department duties, tracking performance, providing associate training, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Support and work in the department as required
  • Assist in daily management, including labor allocation and leading meetings
  • Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers
  • Track and report ATS/labor hours
  • Train associates and verify SOP compliance
  • Ensure successful area performance through performance tracking and feedback
  • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Fill in with production duties as needed
  • Review and update SOP as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Identify and address safety hazards
  • Coach associates to work safely
  • Refer all job injuries to the area manager

Required skills

  • 1+ years experience with Microsoft Office products
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
  • Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of associates and management
  • Experience with FC kaizen or Shingi event
  • Leadership ability
