Overview

The Process Assistant at Amazon.com Services LLC is responsible for supporting the Area Manager and managing daily operations within a Fulfillment Center. This role involves various tasks such as labor allocation, training associates, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Support daily management of department duties
  • Lead meetings and assign job duties
  • Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers
  • Track attendance and labor hours
  • Train associates and verify SOP compliance
  • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Review and update SOP as required
  • Identify and address safety hazards
  • Coach associates on safety practices

Required skills

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand during shifts up to 12 hours
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with FC kaizen or Shingi events
  • Leadership ability
