Overview

The Process Assistant at Amazon.com Services LLC supports the Area Manager in various Fulfillment Center responsibilities. This role involves managing daily department operations, allocating labor, training associates, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Support and work in the department as required
  • Help manage daily management duties including allocating labor and assigning job duties
  • Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers
  • Track and report ATS/labor hours
  • Assist in training associates and verifying SOP compliance
  • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Fill in with production duties as needed
  • Ensure successful area performance through feedback
  • Review and update SOP as required
  • Identify and address safety hazards
  • Coach associates to work safely

Required skills

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Experience managing employees is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
