Overview

The Process Assistant at Amazon.com Services LLC will support the Area Manager in various responsibilities within the Fulfillment Center. This role involves managing departmental duties, allocating labor, leading meetings, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The assistant will also track performance and safety initiatives while providing coverage for Area Managers as needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Support and manage department duties including labor allocation and leading meetings
  • Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers
  • Track and report on ATS/labor hours
  • Train associates and ensure SOP compliance
  • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Identify and address safety hazards
  • Coach associates on safety practices

Required skills

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in leadership and managing employees
  • Knowledge of Operational Excellence tools
