Job Description

Overview

Micron Technology is seeking highly motivated Process and Equipment Maintenance Technicians to support wafer fabrication in a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to monitor and sustain equipment and processes, improving efficiency, yield, and performance while adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor semiconductor processing equipment and support wafer process efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve bottlenecks and improve workstation operations
  • Conduct data analysis to guide process decisions and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and address safety concerns
  • Document process deviations and implement root cause analysis for operational improvements
  • Lead and support projects focused on equipment maintenance and operational enhancements

Required skills

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and wafer fabrication
  • Skills in equipment maintenance and data analysis
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and follow safety protocols
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools for reporting
  • Mechanical, electrical, or software skills in troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Military experience in relevant fields is a plus
