Job Description

Overview

Micron Technology is seeking highly motivated Process and Equipment Maintenance Technicians to support wafer fabrication in a dynamic manufacturing environment. These roles involve monitoring and sustaining equipment and processes, conducting analysis, and collaborating with various teams to improve efficiency, yield, and performance, particularly aimed at supporting veterans and transitioning military personnel.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor semiconductor processing equipment and handle online manufacturing systems
  • Support wafer process efficiency and quality through collaboration with engineering and operations
  • Conduct data analysis to guide process decisions and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Perform light assembly and address preventative maintenance needs of equipment
  • Document process deviations and drive improvements using root cause analysis
  • Lead and support equipment maintenance and operational improvement projects
  • Communicate with team members and handle tasks independently using Microsoft Office tools

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment
  • Mechanical, electronic, and software skills to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including rotating shifts and overtime as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent; AAS or AS degree in related fields is preferred
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and handling chemicals safely
