Overview

Micron Technology is seeking Process and Equipment Maintenance Technicians to support wafer fabrication in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is focused on monitoring and sustaining equipment, conducting analyses, and collaborating with various teams to enhance efficiency and performance. Key responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor semiconductor processing equipment and handle multiple manufacturing systems
  • Support wafer process efficiency and quality through collaboration with engineering and operations
  • Conduct data analysis to guide process decisions and improve workstation operations
  • Perform preventive maintenance and address equipment performance needs
  • Document process deviations and drive improvements using root cause analysis
  • Communicate tasks independently and prepare technical reports
  • Lead projects focused on equipment maintenance and operational improvements

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment
  • Mechanical, electronic, and software skills for identifying and resolving equipment issues
  • Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and safety measures
  • Ability to operate in both cleanroom and office environments
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office tools
  • Understanding of HVAC/R systems operations
