Overview

Nava Healthcare Recruiting is seeking a compassionate PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team in Red Bay, AL. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders while providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment on an as-needed basis.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and home programs
  • Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes in compliance with standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
  • Maintain flexibility to provide coverage as needed

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Alabama SLP license and ASHA certification (or eligibility)
  • Clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome
  • Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varying schedules
