Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for private duty homecare positions in North Palm Springs, California. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in homecare settings, with a focus on clinical judgment and patient needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in patient condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret health data and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient's plan of care and expected outcomes
  • Perform interventions according to established priorities and care standards
  • Revise care plan based on evaluation and changes in medical plan
  • Utilize clinical judgment to meet patient care needs
  • Complete other RN or LPN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for the state of practice
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year of prior nursing experience preferred
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator management
  • Enteral feeds
