Overview

Civista Bank is seeking a Private Banking professional to manage and grow long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and medical professionals. The role focuses on providing high-touch banking and financial planning services while ensuring a superior client experience through comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with high-net-worth clients and medical professionals.
  • Provide high-quality client service by addressing individual banking and financial needs.
  • Open, close, and service client deposit accounts and handle loan applications.
  • Confidentially manage daily client transactions and inquiries.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by offering financial solutions and simplifying clients' lives.
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities independently.
  • Monitor and manage existing credit relationships.
  • Develop and maintain lifelong client relationships with 75-125 high-net-worth individuals.
  • Prospect for new client acquisition and develop referral sources.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance client service.
  • Host seminars and events to deepen relationships and share prospect referrals.
  • Represent the bank at community events.
  • Create and execute a Business Plan for client acquisition and financial goals.
  • Track client interactions and maintain reports in Salesforce.
  • Travel to meet clients and maintain communication through various devices.

Required skills

  • Five years of retail banking experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Series 7 and Series 63 brokerage licenses preferred.
  • Excellent relationship management and client service skills.
  • Strong sales experience and experience dealing with public accounting and law firms.
  • Good knowledge of consumer banking and financial planning.
  • Solid computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
