Overview

Marie Leising & Associates, LLC is seeking an experienced Print Estimator/Production Planner to join their busy commercial and direct mail printing company in Farnham, Virginia. This role involves creating accurate estimates and production plans to meet client demands while collaborating with production departments and vendors.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely estimates and production plans in response to RFQs and price request changes
  • Review program specs and gather required information to produce estimates using a Print Management System
  • Adjust estimates to improve production efficiency and reduce costs
  • Gather competitive pricing from vendors for materials and services
  • Prepare detailed production plans based on client specifications

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in the offset printing industry
  • Strong cost estimating and production planning background
  • Working knowledge of Print Management Systems such as EFI/Monarch/Hagan/PACE
  • Familiarity with offset commercial and digital printing processes and terminology
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

What the company offers
