Syneos Health is seeking a Principal/Sr Medical Editor for Regulatory Documents to work remotely in North America/Canada. This role is integral to ensuring the quality and compliance of medical documentation, adhering to FDA and EU guidelines while collaborating on diverse projects across the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain familiarity with FDA and EU guidelines for document compliance
  • Represent the editorial group in medical writing and project teams
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, updating relevant stakeholders
  • Provide technical support and expertise to team members
  • Conduct training and mentoring for medical editing staff
  • Advise on quality review and editorial standards
  • Serve as project lead for complex medical writing projects
  • Copyedit documents according to established style guidelines
  • Perform quality reviews to ensure document accuracy
  • Contribute to process improvement tools and internal policies
