Overview

Syneos Health is seeking a Principal/Sr Medical Editor for regulatory documents focused on copy editing and quality control, available in a remote capacity within North America and Canada. The role emphasizes collaboration in a fast-paced environment to ensure adherence to FDA and industry standards while managing project timelines and contributing to medical writing deliverables.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure documents meet or exceed sponsor and regulatory guidelines.
  • Represent the editorial group in medical writing and project teams.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, updating relevant stakeholders as necessary.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to medical editing staff.
  • Advise teams on quality review and editorial standards.
  • Lead complex medical writing projects and organize project-specific requirements.
  • Copyedit documents for grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Perform quality reviews to ensure document accuracy.
  • Contribute to process improvement and internal policy development.
