Overview

The Principal/Sr Medical Editor at Syneos Health will be responsible for editing regulatory documents, ensuring compliance with FDA, EU, and relevant guidelines. This remote position, based in North America, emphasizes collaboration on various medical writing projects and includes mentoring roles within the editorial team.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain familiarity with regulatory guidelines to ensure document compliance
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, updating relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct training and mentoring of medical editing staff
  • Advise medical teams on quality review and editorial standards
  • Lead complex medical writing projects, organizing team meetings and requirements
  • Copyedit documents following established style guides and best practices
  • Perform quality reviews to ensure document accuracy
  • Contribute to process improvement and revision of editorial policies
