Job Description

Overview

The Principal Information Technology Analyst at the Superior Court of California, County of Butte plays a key role in leading technology initiatives and providing expert support for the court's IT needs. This position is responsible for managing high-priority projects, system upgrades, and ensuring the stability of the court's information technology environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives to modernize information technology infrastructure and improve system efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary technical lead for complex IT projects, including enterprise application deployments and cybersecurity enhancements.
  • Assess, design, and implement solutions for optimizing court IT infrastructure.
  • Provide expert support in systems administration, cybersecurity, and data management.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues affecting IT operations.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security protocols.
  • Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Act as a technical liaison between the IT Division and other departments.
