Overview

The Principal GEM-T Forebody Digital IF Receiver Projects Lead at Raytheon will manage key projects focused on the sustainment and modernization of digital Intermediate Frequency (IF) receiver systems within the GEM-T forebody. This role requires collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive technology refresh efforts and ensure reliable system performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects related to GEM-T forebody digital IF receiver systems.
  • Define project goals, technical requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with leadership.
  • Support production sustainment by integrating updated components and technologies.
  • Perform hands-on contributions to design, analysis, and testing of digital IF receiver systems.
  • Analyze technical risks and develop mitigation strategies for successful project execution.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to align project deliverables.
  • Prepare and present technical documentation and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and resource allocations.
  • Seek mentorship and professional development opportunities for future leadership roles.

Required skills

  • Degree in STEM with at least 8 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with digital IF receiver systems and RF systems.
  • Experience in digital signal processing and intermediate frequency receiver architectures.
  • Experience managing technology refresh or sustainment projects.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes for high-reliability systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • Proficiency in engineering tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and HFSS.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
