Raytheon's Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems (LSEGS) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of our Land and Naval based electrical products.As the Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems Lead, you will provide both technical guidance and supervision in meeting project commitments. In this role you will work with Raytheon factories and suppliers to deliver data-based evidence to ensure proper decision-making for the direction of the program related to electrical design and production.What You Will Do Performance management and career development activitiesSupport hiring efforts (resume reviews, interviews, etc.)Oversee the direct line management activities for the section including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisitionCollaborate and communicate with other sections and teamsSupport department and directorate level initiativesEnsure employee compliance with company policies and proceduresOversight of personnel issue resolutionManage employee timecardsAdhere to and ensure alignment to Raytheon Technologies Values and BehaviorsWork as a technical lead or individual contributor; Section Leader duties account for approximately 15-20% of the employee's time.Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior Engineering experienceRequired relevant experience to include a combination of the following: Engineering experience in System Engineering (SE) or Production Engineering (PE) or Production Test Engineering (PTE)Experience in analysis, testing, measurement or integration of electrical products or systems, and leading cross-functional teams or projectsExperience with missile guidance section or subassembly production and development, with a strong understanding of all phases of the product development lifecycleActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizen are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We PreferMaster's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)Experience working in a matrix organizationExperience serving as a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA), Control Account Manager (CAM), and/or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)Failure investigation, root cause identification, and corrective action implementationExperience in production support of RF guidance systemsStrong emotional intelligence skills (i.e., self-awareness, self-management, empathy, social awareness, relationship management)Strong track record for working effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skillsStrong engineering development discipline and process advocacyS
