Job Description

Overview

Aya Locums is looking for a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a 4-month locums assignment in the Portland metro area. The ideal candidate will have strong family medicine experience and must be local to the area, as no travel or lodging is provided.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Provide preventive care for patients of all ages
  • See patients daily within a family medicine residency clinic
  • Perform optional procedures if trained and comfortable
  • Collaborate with a full care team including nurses, social workers, and pharmacists

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of primary care experience, family medicine preferred
  • Pediatric experience is a plus
  • Active Oregon license required
  • Board certified
  • EMR proficiency in Epic
