Job Description

Overview

The Prevention Program Operations Manager will lead the development and implementation of evidence-based prevention services in alignment with OASAS Prevention Guidelines. This role requires effective supervision of staff, collaboration with internal and external partners, and support for strategic planning to optimize program outcomes and impact.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee implementation of school-based prevention initiatives
  • Provide leadership and coaching to prevention staff
  • Ensure quality service delivery and program compliance
  • Conduct community needs assessments and prepare compliance reports
  • Analyze data to drive program improvement and maintain accountability
  • Facilitate training sessions for educators and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with school districts and community partners
  • Assist in budget planning and monitoring of financial resources

Required skills

  • Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Public Health, Psychology, or related field
  • Licensed mental health clinician preferred (LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)
  • Certified Prevention Professional (CPP) or related credentials preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OASAS prevention models and evidence-based practices
  • Management and supervision experience
  • Presentation and training skills
  • Proficiency in data entry and program evaluation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
