Purpose of the RoleAs a Press Brake Operator, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping the precision metal components that power Tracewell's advanced technology platforms. You'll work with a variety of materials and tools to form parts to exact specifications, contributing directly to the quality and performance of our products. What You'll Do Machine Operation & Setup Independently set up and operate Amada Press Brake machines. Ensure proper tooling, fixturing, and programming based on blueprints and job travelers. Precision Forming & Inspection Form parts within tight tolerances (+/- .005") using aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and copper. Record inspection measurements using calipers, protractors, and height gauges. Collaboration & Problem Solving Interface with programmers, engineers, and team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality outcomes. Documentation & Maintenance Complete production and quality forms, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Team Contribution Rotate through different fabrication processes as needed, support inventory and part handling, and contribute to a safe and efficient workspace.
