Job Description

Overview

The Preschool Teacher at North Bay Children in Cotati, California, will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. The teacher will collaborate with the teaching team and engage with parents while adhering to all regulations and maintaining a positive atmosphere for both children and staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Adhere to NBCC policies and procedures
  • Maintain general housekeeping tasks with teaching team
  • Obtain and maintain Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR certification
  • Engage in self-assessment and performance evaluations
  • Maintain supervision of children in accordance with licensing standards
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and inviting classroom environment
  • Develop meaningful relationships with parents through open communication
  • Report injuries and incidents to Head Teacher or Site Supervisor

Required skills

  • 12 ECE units
  • 6 Units in Toddler Development
  • CTC Associate Teacher permit
  • Classroom experience (minimum 6 months)
