Overview

North Bay Children is seeking a Preschool Teacher in Santa Rosa, California. The role involves collaborating with a teaching team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young children, adhering to educational standards, and supporting children's development in accordance with provided guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Adhere to NBCC policies and procedures
  • Maintain general housekeeping tasks in the classroom
  • Obtain and maintain Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification
  • Engage in self-assessment and performance evaluations
  • Ensure proper supervision of children at all times
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and inviting classroom environment
  • Develop relationships with parents through open communication
  • Report any injuries to the Head Teacher or Site Supervisor

Required skills

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
  • 12 - 24 ECE units or enrollment in GE units
  • CTC Associate Teacher permit or higher Child Development Teaching Permit
