Overview

Shepherd's Flock Preschool is looking for a passionate Preschool Teacher for its intergenerational program in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and older adults, fostering development in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children ages 3.5-5 years old
  • Integrate teaching skills with the values of a mission-driven organization
  • Provide a well-rounded and developmentally appropriate educational experience
  • Support each child's growth through intentional interactions and care
  • Participate in intergenerational programming opportunities
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members

Required skills

  • At least a two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • 1-3 years of early childhood education or childcare experience preferred
  • Early Childhood Education Level 3 certification or willingness to obtain
