Overview

The Preschool Teacher at North Bay Children is responsible for creating a safe and engaging learning environment for young children, while adhering to state licensing regulations. This role requires collaboration with other teaching staff and maintaining strong relationships with parents to foster a positive educational experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Adhere to all NBCC policies and procedures
  • Engage in self-assessment and job performance evaluations
  • Maintain required supervision of children at all times
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and inviting classroom environment
  • Develop meaningful relationships with parents
  • Support the implementation of child behavior plans
  • Maintain certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR

  • 6 units in Toddler Development
  • CTC Associate Teacher permit
