Overview

Stratford School is seeking a Preschool Spanish Teacher to create a nurturing learning environment for children aged 3 to 5. The role emphasizes engaging preschool-aged children in immersive Spanish language experiences while providing an opportunity to work with students in TK to 2nd grade.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and implement the Spanish curriculum
  • Create a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff members
  • Communicate daily with parents or guardians
  • Participate in professional development opportunities

Required skills

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • 12 ECE semester units or 18 quarter units in relevant coursework or a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development
  • Prior teaching experience with young students
  • Patience and compassion for working with young children
