Overview

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a compassionate and visionary Preschool Principal to lead its Chalfont, PA school community. The Principal will play a crucial role in fostering a positive school culture, supporting educator development, and ensuring compliance with childcare regulations, all while providing exceptional educational experiences for children and families.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of educators
  • Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations and company standards
  • Drive enrollment growth and build strong family and community partnerships
  • Foster a positive school culture focused on educational excellence and child success

Required skills

  • Must meet Pennsylvania Child Care Center Director qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience in early childhood education
  • Thorough knowledge of Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams and manage daily center operations
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Educational Leadership, Business Admin
  • Experience with Pennsylvania Keystone STARS, NAEYC accreditation or similar preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain required clearances and certifications
