Overview

Stratford School is looking for a Part Time Preschool Mandarin Teacher to join their team in Sunnyvale, California. The role involves developing and implementing an instructional plan for Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten students in an afterschool immersion program, along with curriculum planning and student assessment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an instruction plan for Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten students
  • Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum for the campus afterschool program
  • Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
  • Provide administrative support
  • Monitor and assess student progress
  • Maintain an ordered and arranged classroom environment

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Twelve post-secondary semester or equivalent quarter units in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Two years of prior classroom experience in an elementary setting
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

What the company offers

  • Salary range: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
