Overview

Georgetown Hill Early School is seeking a Preschool Director for a new campus in Woodley Gardens, Rockville, opening in January 2027. This role involves providing leadership to create a joyful and inclusive early childhood learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of early childhood educators
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children
  • Maintain compliance with MSDE Office of Child Care regulations and NAEYC standards
  • Foster strong, positive relationships with families, staff, and the broader community
  • Support enrollment growth and promote the campus within the community
  • Manage campus operations, staffing, and budgeting

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • 5+ years of early childhood leadership experience
  • Experience leading a school of 150-200+ children
  • Strong knowledge of MSDE regulations and NAEYC standards
