Overview

The Prepared Foods Production Team Member at Whole Foods Market will be involved in the preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products within the deli and culinary prep areas. This part-time seasonal role is focused on ensuring high-quality food products while providing excellent customer service and supporting the company's mission to nourish people and the planet.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
  • Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, and rotated.
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
  • Ensure product production follows recipes and measuring guidelines.
  • Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping and storing products.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly.
  • Engage with customers and participate actively on the floor.
