Overview

As a Prepared Foods Production Team Member at Whole Foods Market, you will assist in the preparation and counter service for various prepared food offerings while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. You'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, contributing to community-oriented initiatives that reflect the company's mission to nourish people and the planet.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
  • Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated.
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
  • Ensure compliance with established health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Maximize sales potential through effective product preparation and merchandising.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
