Overview

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Part-Time Prepared Foods Production Team Member to join their team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves food preparation, customer service, and ensuring cleanliness and organization in the preparation area, all while adhering to health and safety regulations. Team Members are encouraged to contribute to the company’s mission of nourishing people and the planet.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues
  • Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, and rotated
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms
  • Help customers understand the difference between WFM products and conventional store products
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers
  • Provide excellent customer service and model suggestive selling techniques
  • Maximize sales potential through effective prepping, storing, and merchandising
  • Comply with established procedures for health and sanitation
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
