Overview

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Part Time Prepared Foods Production Team Member for their Deli and Culinary Prep section. This role focuses on food preparation, customer service, and maintaining high standards of sanitation, quality control, and teamwork to enhance the overall customer experience and community impact.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues
  • Ensure prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms
  • Follow recipes accurately and use correct measuring devices for production
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs effectively
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers
  • Maximize sales through effective prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures including health and sanitation
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • Report safety hazards and violations immediately
