Overview

As a Prepared Foods Production Team Member at Whole Foods Market, you will play a vital role in food preparation, customer service, and maintaining sanitation standards. Your work will contribute to the mission of nourishing people and the planet while ensuring a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
  • Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated.
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
  • Follow recipes and measure ingredients correctly.
  • Help customers understand WFM products compared to conventional stores.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in walk-ins and freezers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs promptly.
  • Follow established procedures for health, sanitation, and safety compliance.
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
  • Immediately report safety hazards and violations.
