Overview

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Prepared Foods Production Team Member for their Deli and Culinary Prep department in Honolulu, Hawaii. This part-time position involves various food preparation tasks and supporting the company's mission of nourishing people and the planet while ensuring high standards in customer service and food quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues
  • Ensure prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, and rotated
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms
  • Help customers understand the difference between WFM products and conventional products
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers
  • Provide excellent customer service and model suggestive selling techniques
  • Maximize sales potential through effective prepping, storing, and merchandising
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
